If you could go anywhere, if money were no object, where would you like to go?

  1. Once my business is more passive and free, I plan on having monthly ‘holidays’… Somewhere peaceful where I can write blissfully without distractions. I love the whole tropical island thing… :)
Oh and those Virgin Galactic moon trips sound pretty interesting too! :)

    New Zealand.

The place has always fascinated me. The contrasts between North and South islands, the Maori culture, the grandeur and beauty of the scenery….. and the sheep.

Ohhh… the sheep, with their baaaad attitude and their long eyelashes.

    • Wonderful choice. Where the sheep outnumber the people-sounds like you’ve got a thing for sheep…
I lived there for 10 months w/ the ex-husband. He was doing a post-doctoral at Waikato Un. in Hamilton. I was at home with a baby, 7 week old when we got there. We bought a Vauxhall Viva and toured the North Island on weekends and later took a 3 week tour of the South Island.
I’d love to go back and see the sights I missed first time around.. of course it was 28 years ago, so what I saw I’ve probably forgotten.

Greek Islands. Always wanted to see them.

    I should hope so! :-)

    • Just checking, you could be contemplating a solo or a girls get away… or fantasizing about some gorgeous hunk of a Greek guy, bronzed, rugged, sexy, shirtless…… sigh!

  5. I would go to Italy, Greece, Paris and Hawaii. I think the sights would be awesome!

    French Polynesian Islands!

    • Sounds good. Never been there myself.

i would go to the island of Rarotonga in the Cook islands, the jewel of the south pacific. we’ve been trying to get jobs on the island for about a year now. the island is 25 miles in circumference and the population is small. here’s a blog of a friend of mine that’s lived there for 25 years. she puts up short videos of the area: http://www.rarolens.com. or you can see a video on my site on the left column. thanks for the opportunity to share our passion with you today~

        • Cool. Jobs huh. You’d uproot and move away. I’ll have to look at this link, it sounds very enticing.
Lynn, I’m glad you gave us the chance to see your world! ( little mutual suck-up here) ;-)

A distant Utopian planet. But it would have to be Utopian. I’m talking total fantasy planet. Let’s call it “Fantasy Planet” That would be fine. Plus the space ride to it would be very cool. If you had a window seat, that is. And, I would.

Second choice: Malta. It looks beautiful and I’ve never been there.

  8. Kansas maybe Oklahoma, I can’t decide.

  9. Julie Says:

It would have to be one of those small islands off Madagascar for me … although I probably would never come home again … I could live like a beach bum for the rest of my life!

  10. Japan. I always love the culture there. And the food… sushi — I can never get bored of eating them!
